Remembering Dr. King

Dr. King knew that hate and racism were formidable walls that would take years to crumble, but they had to come down if we were to be truly free. In the end, his work cost him his life at the hands of a bigoted criminal. The vision and dream he left us, however, did not die with his mortal body. That is why we honor his memory today and remember the importance of truly loving our brothers and sisters as we do ourselves. It is something we should practice every day in our lives no matter how hard the darkness tries to drive out the light. God bless.
